Do I need to make an appointment to use the Dog Wash?
No, Dog Wash Baths are first come, first serve with no appointment needed.
Can I wash my dog or does someone else?
Our Dog Wash Baths are a more convenient do-it-yourself dog wash than you may have at home. We provide professional-grade grooming equipment and products onsite for you.
What is include in the Dog Wash Baths?
Your dog wash includes the use of our professional grade dog grooming equipment and supplies, including: elevated wash bays, dog grooming table, specialty dog shampoos, brushes combs and towels, professional grade dryer and a waterproof apron for use (for the inevitable post dog wash shake!)
Where do I pay for a Pet Wash?
Payments will be taken before the dog wash. After which, a KC Barkers Team Member can help you.
How often should I wash my dog?
You and your dog are welcome to visit our Barkers Bath anytime. Consult with your veterinarian for a professional assessment of how often your dog should be bathed. The frequency varies from breed to breed, lifestyle and activity level of each dog. However, as a rule of thumb; If your dog starts to smell, it’s probably time for a bath.

*Please keep in mind that the last wash is scheduled 1 hour before closing. If 1 hour is not enough time to finish your dog, please arrive earlier.*

When housebreaking a puppy, patience, consistency, and perseverance are crucial. Stick to a strict routine for 30 days so that your puppy associates going outside to eliminate. Gradually, you can give your puppy more freedom as you evaluate their behavior. The key to success is maintaining a consistent routine and preventing your puppy from having opportunities to potty indoors.
- Never punish after the fact! If your puppy has an accident and you weren’t present to witness it, don’t scold them. Dogs live in the present and won’t connect your reprimand with something that happened earlier. If an accident happens, take responsibility it’s usually due to a lapse in supervision. If you catch your puppy in the act, calmly say “Outside!” and immediately take them to their designated potty area. Afterward, clean the soiled area thoroughly with an enzymatic cleaner like Nature’s Miracle to remove any lingering scent.
